iMaXX Companies truthfully cares for the environment

iMaXX Companies is occasionally requested or contacted by relations to provide information or certification in regard to environmental issues. EMAS or ISO 14001 certificates are requested to prove that iMaXX cares for the environment and is aware of its surroundings. iMaXX Companies has a specific opinion about these type of documents and refrains from application. The effort and paperwork that come with such procedures are themselves a burden to the environment and not beneficial enough to justify the time and effort needed to acquire them.

The list below indicates the efforts iMaXX Companies undertakes throughout the organization to limit the effects of our business on the environment.

  • Almost all of the water used for cooling during production is re-used (closed loop system)
  • 100% of scrap metal produced during production is returned to be recycled
  • 100% of scrap plastics are recycled within the production facility
  • 100% of packaging materials (plastic, cardboard, boxes, foam etc) is re-used or recycled. iMaXX RESY number 2530
  • 100% of pallets are re-used or recycled
  • iMaXX Companies produces solar power at the warehouse and uses electric fork lifts
  • iMaXX Companies keep high levels of stock, cutting down on the number of incoming shipments required
  • Materials for production are sourced within Europe to ensure quality but also to lower emissions produced during transport as the distance traveled is much smaller
  • All lamps and heating sources are used in a smart manner, no heating or lighting is used when they are not needed, all lighting in the iMaXX facility are LED
  • Printing is kept to a minimum, most work is done (and shared) digitally
  • iMaXX Companies encourages working from a home office. This greatly reduces emissions caused by traveling to the office building

The above is a summary of actions taken by iMaXX Companies to preserve our surroundings. We encourage employees and partner companies to use common sense when the environment is concerned. Documents containing theoretical information to show that iMaXX Companies does things right provide an extra burden on the company, its cost and the environment.
